A/Prof Nick Cox
Associate Investigator
The Australian National University
AI Cox is a world-renowned Electron Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR) spectroscopist, having come to the ANU from a group-leadership position (2011-15) at the Max Planck Institute for Chemical Energy Conversion. He manages the ANU EPR facility, which includes Australia’s only high-field (W-band) EPR instrument. With CI Otting, he is developing novel EPR approaches for high- sensitivity distance measurements specifically for the structure analysis of peptide and protein binding modes on proteins, with the potential to identify also structural changes.
