Bernardo is interested in the discovery of new therapeutics using peptides and proteins. Specifically, he focuses on chemokine degradation which is associated with the pathophysiology of Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Fatty Liver Disease. Outside the lab, Bernardo is passionate about music, whether it's playing the piano or guitar or enjoying live jazz performances.
