Choi is a Postdoctoral Researcher at The University of Tokyo under the supervision of Professor Hiroaki Suga. She completed her PhD study under the supervision of Dr Simon de Veer and Professor David Craik at the Institute for Molecular Bioscience, The University of Queensland. The primary focus of Choi’s research is to engineer serine protease inhibitors using naturally occurring cyclic peptides and mRNA display libraries.
