Dr Daniel Engelhardt
Postdoctoral Research Fellow
The Australian National University
Dan received his Ph.D. from the Vederas lab at the University of Alberta in Canada, where he studied the incorporation of post-translational modifications into peptides by SPPS. He has since come to the Malins lab at ANU as a postdoctoral fellow, where he seeks to expand the area of bioconjugation for antisense oligonucleotides with peptides and other biomolecules. Outside of research, Dan enjoys rock climbing, multi-day hikes, and getting as close to wildlife as reasonably possible.
