Dr Liping Liu
Research Fellow
The University of Queensland
Liping earned her PhD in 2022 under the supervision of Prof. Jennifer Stow at the University of Queensland. Her research focused on identifying molecular regulators in Toll-like receptor signalling pathways to facilitate selective inflammatory responses in innate immunity. Currently, as a postdoctoral research fellow in David Fairlie’s team, she is investigating the cellular uptake mechanisms of various cell-permeable compounds, including a novel anti-TB compound synthesized by the team. Her research has important implications for drug discovery and could pave the way for the development of more effective treatments
