Giuseppina’s project focuses on studying the mechanistic basis of the increase in oral bioavailability and half-life of some tagged peptides. Specifically, through a series of biophysical techniques they are characterizing how the tag affects the interaction of peptides with biological membranes.

When she is not in the lab, she likes hiking, hanging out with friends, and doing Pilates.
