Isabel’s research is focused on the discovery of natural product-mimicking cyclic peptide inhibitors of Mycobacterium tuberculosis proteolysis. Targeting ClpC1 has the potential to uncover novel treatments for multi-drug resistant Tuberculosis as well as provide valuable structure-activity relationships (SARs).  Outside of the Lab Isabel enjoys the beach, running, and creative pursuits.
