Associate Professor Cryle pioneers multidisciplinary approaches for investigation of the biosynthesis of glycopeptide antibiotics. He is an NHMRC Career Development Fellow and is the recipient of numerous honours and awards that highlight the impact of his research into non-ribosomal biosynthetic pathways. With vast experience in several organisational roles and the development of training platforms within EMBL Australia, CI Cryle is well- suited to coordinate Training and Mentoring activities within the Centre and act as the VIC Node leader.
