Scientists crack the genetic code of koalas

An international team scientists – including CIPPS researcher Katherine Belov – have successfully sequenced the full koala genome.

A total of 54 scientists from 29 different institutions across seven countries were engaged in the effort which was led by Professor Katherine Belov, University of Sydney and Professor Rebecca Johnson, Director of the Australian Museum Research Institute.
