It has been 150 years since the periodic table of elements has been first created and to celebrate this breakthrough in chemistry, the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) has created the ‘Periodic table of younger chemists‘, profiling successful young chemists from around the world.

CIPPS researchers Richard Payne and Elizabeth New are both featured on the chart, Professor Payne as Selenium and Associate Professor New is as Iron.
