Scientists from the Australian National University under the lead of CIPPS researcher Professor Colin Jackson have made a major breakthrough that could eventually lead to better treatment for tuberculosis, which is still one of the top 10 causes of death worldwide, according to the World Health Organization.

Professor Jackson said this breakthrough could help identify new drug targets for tuberculosis. The work resulted in a Nature Communications publication. You can read more about this accomplishment on the ANU website.
