After 10 years of postdoctoral work including four years as Senior Scientific Officer in the School of Biomedical Sciences, UQ, under the supervision of Dr Richard Clark, Johannes joined AdvanCell in 2024 to help establish the Discovery team.  In his current role as the Director of Ligand Development he is responsible for the discovery of novel peptide hits and their development into radioligands undergoing preclincial evaluation.
