Kate applies bioinformatic approaches to the assembly and annotation of genomes and transcriptomes of Australian species to identify targets for peptide discovery. She specialises in synthesising, analysing and interpreting data, and communicating results clearly to a range of audiences. Outside of science, she enjoys playing hockey and gardening.
