Travis obtained his BSc in Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2018 at Monash University. After spending the year in 2019 working as a quality officer at Aspen Pharmacare, Travis returned to complete his Honours degree at the Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences under the supervision of A/Prof. David K. Chalmers in 2020. Travis is currently undertaking his PhD studies, continuing with the Chalmers group. His research focuses on peptide therapeutic design to overcome the challenges of peptide oral bioavailability. In 2024, Travis undertook a placement opportunity in the Craik group. During his placement, Travis worked with the synthesis of lasso peptides under the supervision of Dr. Bhavesh Khatri. Outside of research, Travis enjoys playing video games, weightlifting and playing the guitar.
