Assoc Prof Mehdi Mobli
The University of Queensland
AI Mobli has made significant contributions to the fields of NMR spectroscopy, peptide science and structural biology. The major research projects in his group include: (i) development of an approach to improving the throughput and automation of NMR spectroscopy, (ii) methods for identification, production and structural characterisation of multi-domain, disulfide-rich peptides and (iii) establishing a highly efficient method for production of circularised lipid nanodiscs for in vitro characterisation of membrane proteins, lipid binding of peptides and drug screening. He will provide (NMR) structural biology support at the Centre, primarily through cutting-edge methods developed in his group.
