Angéla’s research is focusing on grain proteins in food crops with a primary interest on food allergens and antigens in cereal crop species. Using computational biology approaches her aim is to understand the conserved function of these proteins across plant species and how can we modify their abundance by understanding the genetic and environmental factors that impact their expression. In her spare time she likes bread baking and watching movies.
