Dr Thuy Tien Dang
Institute of Applied Materials Science, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology
Tien is a PhD graduate working as a research officer at the Institute of Applied Materials Science, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology. Her research group focuses on peptide-based bioproducts for crop protection and aquacultural applications and dendrimers on peptide-based drug delivery and targeting. She finished her PhD under the supervision of Professor David Craik, Dr Angeline Chan, Dr Crystal Huang, and Dr Quentin Kaas at the Institute for Molecular Bioscience, The University of Queensland. Her PhD research is about discovery, bioactivity characterisation, chemical synthesis, and structural determination of cyclotides and acyclotides. Fascinating molecules have great potentials in a wide range of applications in agricultural bioproducts and peptide-based drug design.
