Ivy’s research focuses on dietary natural products that benefits cardiovascular diseases such as thrombosis. A few electrophilic natural products have been identified as potential antiplatelet agents with minimum bleeding side effect. Chemical tools were developed for understanding the cellular impact of these natural products. Outside the lab, Ivy is a big fan of hand-crafting and cooking.
