Communications and Engagement Officer

The CIPPS Communication and Engagement Officer will advise and assist the Centre Director and Chief Operating Officer to plan and implement strategic and operational communications and engagement and outreach activities online and in print to promote and profile CIPPS. This position will build and manage positive relationships with the Centre’s research and professional staff across six university partners to ensure integrated and effective engagement outputs. This will include building effective relationships with the respective marketing and communications offices, the Australian Research Council’s Communications team, and external partners including government and industry.

Business Manager

The Business Manager will support a nationally dispersed ARC Centre of Excellence through strategic and operational management of the Centre’s Activities. In the role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of complex research management related activities which determine how objectives will be achieved and how resources will be deployed to achieve outcomes. You will develop strong relationships with an extensive network of internal and external stakeholders to enable the delivery of high quality operational and research support services. In addition, you will monitor compliance and risk management of the Centre’s obligations with the Australian Research Council and other relevant funding agencies or partners.

Node Administrator

As the UQ Node Administrator you will work in the Centre Operations Team to provide timely and high-quality professional services to support the ARC Centre of Excellence for Innovations in Peptide and Protein Science (CIPPS). The UQ Node Administrator will support the efficient operation of the Centre through the provision of high level administrative and operational support for Queensland-based investigators and their research groups, and contribute to the overall administrative activities of the Centre by working collaboratively with the wider network of Node Administrators based at other Nodes of the Centre.

Data Officer

The Data Officer provides technical knowledge and expertise to the Chief Investigator, Senior Research Academics, and the research team to support the research requirements for the CIPPS. This includes actively managing datasets and contributing to research activities and analysis.  In this role you will Collate and record research data, draw insights and analyses, and report information from the research undertaken.

Postdoctoral Research Associate in Bioinformatics

This is a Level A/B Bioinformatics position within the new Centre for Innovations in Peptide and Protein Science (CIPPS). The role is located within the Australasian Wildlife Genomics Group but will support CIPPS scientists in their bioinformatics needs and undertake research activities that align with the CIPPS research strategy. It will conduct research and/or scholarly activities under the limited supervision of senior academic staff as part of the CIPPS.
